DIGITAL INSPECTION

The facts:
There are ongoing discussions on abolishing requirements for structural inspections to be presented in hard copy format. Digital construction files are gradually being introduced at construction authorities.  

Well-prepared:
The first desks at RECK+GASS have already been equipped with pioneering large-format e-screen touch monitors. This allows plans to be displayed and edited with a pen – all of which is done digitally, of course.

Secure:
The engineering firm is working with a digital signature which includes a timestamp by D-TRUST, developed by the German Federal Printing Office (Bundesdruckerei), which provides legally binding digital signatures suitable for documents.
RECK+GASS has incorporated its experiences over the course of the quality management system DIN EN ISO 9001 into an internal reference guide on digital structural inspection in order to standardise processes and to be able to guarantee equivalent processing to the paper format.
